Dr. Ramal Weragoda is a board-certified physician in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology, and joined Northside Heart in 2016.
Dr. Weragoda attended medical school and graduate school at The University of Texas in Houston, where he later completed an Internal Medicine Residency and served as Chief Medical Resident. He then completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, serving as Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Weragoda completed his training at Emory University in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Dr. Weragoda specializes in pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablation of arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and flutter, supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia.
